Today I broke my nail. I know, I know. It sounds whiny, but it prompted me wonder to myself about what you all do when a nail breaks. Usually I’ll file it smooth and use something like Essie’s “Grow Faster” to speed up the growing time on that nail. Then I just continue painting them until I can file them out all the same length. Sometimes if I need to go somewhere fancy I’ll get a soft gel extension on the broken nail. Followers, what products and treatments do you use that seem to help?

if you’ve ripped the nail a small amount and really don’t want to cut it, you can put base coat and a small piece of tea bag over the spot.

to help nail growth, apply cuticle oil daily at the nail matrix. treatments only work where the nail grows from, not the whole nail plate!

Just file and reshape it, hope it grows fast lol If a bunch of them break around the same time, then I just cut them all down *tear*
